Just got BFP today, but I am bleeding. Experience of pregnancy bleeding?

Hi,

After a long time trying and my first month on clomid, I have a BFP!! Wow!

I have no idea what I am supposed to do now. I have been spotting since the weekend, but this isn't unusual for me. I can spot up to a week before AF.

Its hasn't been fresh red spotting like I normally get, but it has been pink and usually after a number 2. However, now I'm bleeding tiny little clots/tissue.

Surely I am not going to get a BFP and a period on the same day? Please no.

Any one else experienced this? I have made a drs appointment week after next.

I'm not sure I have any real advice to give, but I had bleeding at 5 weeks which made me panic and now I'm 13 weeks on and everything is looking good.

How far along are you? Did you test earlier than AF was due?

Definitely go and see your doctor, they can refer you up to the EPU for an early scan, but depending upon where you are they might not scan you until 6 weeks, as before then there is often not much to see.

I hope it all works out for you and try as impossible as it may seem to relax.

Hi onedaybaby I hope you are ok.

How many weeks pg do you think you are? It might be worth seeing your dr sooner or going to the early pregnancy unit at your local hospital? They may be able to do an early internal scan to make sure that everything is where it should be. I don't know if it's too early for this.

There seem to be lots of women on here who do have some bleeding etc. It could be implantation bleeding?

I really hope that everything is ok and that you can get some answers.

I was expecting my period any day now, but for the last week and a half I have felt so sick, and have been once. Because the spotting was lighter than normal, I decided to test this morning. Today is CD29.

I put the sickness down to the tablets, but it started just after ovulation.

I had a tiny bit of pink spotting on my period due date.
I also has red bleeding after doing number 2's in early pregnancy with DS1.
I was just told to keep an eye on it. Will you be scanned early due to fertility treatment?
If you are worried I would book in with the midwife and or call the day assessment unit?
