Your 'Show' (TMI Thread)

Hi :)

I'm 37+2 and think I just had my show. No blood, just a surprisingly large glob of thick, snotty globness. Bleugh.

When did you have yours and what did it look like?

I know it could still be a couple weeks before I actually go into labour, but I'm curious as to others' stories!

Mine came in dribs and drabs over 2 days, then in one huuuuuge blob about 10 mins before delivery. The first lot (over the 2 days) was thick and white, no blood. The 2nd lot was also thick and white and there was quite a lot of blood in it. MW said it was a normal amount though

DC1 - it was a huge raw egg/snot-like slime which came out in one/two goes at about 36 weeks.

DC2 - about the same time but over a period of about a week. Barely noticeable from the usual delightful pregnancy leakages! (sorry if TMI!)

I had a bit of clear/pink snotty stuff when wiping for about 12 hours and then I felt a large thing 'descend' (when we were out for dinner!) which was exactly like you described. DD was born 12 hours later! Good luck...

Had my first Tuesday which was brown stringy snot and I've just had another which was clear and jelly like (ive been contracting since midnight las night :D)

Mine was exactly as you described, great big globby wet mess in my pants, no blood, about 12hrs before DD arrived. I was 39+2wks.

I got mine a hour before ds was born.

T'was a pinky gooey blob.

Im glad Ive come across this cos i wanted to know without Googling it what it looked like.

Ds1 was one big pinky gooey blob which was 4 days before he was born, My waters broke three days after and he was born 28hrs later.
Dd1 don't recall having one.
Ds2 the day before he was born and came in dribs and drabs throughout the day. Was out at an adventure playground just praying my waters didn't break!
