not a morning sickness pregnancy - only sick once in 1st trimester

18wks now, felt like being sick yesterday but thought it was just nerves, but just threw up making DS's lunch! could this be MS or is it a bug?

TMI: I remember MS from DS as being totally undigested, this time it was acidey

I thought I'd got away without having morning sickness this time round but then it kicked in at 17 weeks and I'm still feeling it at nearly 30 weeks. Sorry!

Sorry happened to me too. Can't remember exact weeks but assumed I'd escaped after first trimester went by but it lasted most of second trimester. Involved things like chucking up in the centre of town on disembarking from bus . Midwife told me it is the relaxin and that some women throw up instead of getting heartburn so try gaviscon. Didn't work for me but worth a try?

He is worth it, anyway (looks down at 7 week old feeding contentedly).

I think you can get the throwing up sort in the second tri, it's a bit different to the nausea sort though - iyswim - makes sense of the relaxed muscles cause it, your sphincter would not be so effective at stopping you from being sick.

I am 18 weeks as well and still feeling like shite, though this is still the hormonal thing I've had since about 6 weeks - I know because it makes everything smell terrible, and though I am struggling against being sick, and haven't been yet, I have nausea all the time.

I hope you feel better soon.

Mine has started at 12 weeks - misery. Interesting about the relaxin. Will have to do some Dr Googling this afternoon.
