Hello,

I have just moved to Bromley (BR2) and would be really grateful if anyone can shed any light on this for me...

My first DS was born last year at Lewisham birth centre and, for various reasons, I would like to think I could go back there for our next baby (fingers crossed for another one!).

At this stage, I'm just thinking ahead before I change from our lewisham gp to a more local one in bromley. If we have a bromley GP, would they still be able to refer me to Lewisham hospital?

Thanks very much!

Hi

You may be referred to Princess Royal University hospital in Farnborough. Im sure there are other hospitals but I am also new to Bromley and my GP is still in Lewisham. Not sure if Lewisham will accept your referral. You can give Lewisham Midwives a call on 07554115649. You might have to leave them a voicemail for them to call you back and it could take a couple of days to pick up your message.

Good luck.

When I lived in Bromley I was always sent to Lewisham (although not for pregnancy related stuff). If memory serves it's the nearest NHS hospital.
