And i'm freaking out.
This is normal, right? I'm a bit shaky and I suppose the next step is the doctors. Then what???? Aargh!
I don't like babies. But we want a family..

Congratulations! It depends on your area. My doc asked me to make an appointment with the midwife on the way out.

Congratulations! Freaking out is perfectly normal! Round here you just call the GPs and ask to book an appointment with the midwife for booking in.

I don't like babies either. However, mine were scrumptious and I adored them.

Ah thanks. I've heard this is normal, and once they're here then you can't imagine ever having felt this way.
But a baby????

You will get over the shock. I was shocked with the news of two at the same time!! I love them so much already and they not even born yet.

The same strange feelings will happen to you!

Congrats!
I am 30 weeks and can't say that the initial "oh my god" feeling has gone away yet - know what you mean about the "I'm not this grown up - surely?", neither have the maternal feelings kicked in - kids are still aggravating monsters! But I am starting to feel something for my bump and cannot wait to meet him/her it's lovely.
Good luck - pregnancy is certainly an experience to behold!
