Not sure if i've got the right place to post but...
I've been getting pregnancy like symptoms the last few weeks - sore boobs, feeling rough, missed period etc etc. But i'm on the pill & have taken it correctly, not missing any and at the same time every day, not been sick or on any medication.
I've done 4 pregnancy tests and all negative including early pregnancy indicators, last period was around mid june.... But today have noticed i appear to be producing milk. Dp has now mentioned was happening the other day (when we were having a fumble) but neglected to mention this until now.
Anyone else know what could be happening here?

Are you perhaps more pregnant than you realise? Have you been pregnant before? Pregnancy tests often show negative later in pregnancy as hormone levels not as high in wee.

They are a few conditions which can cause this, you should get checked by your GP ASAP.

blackteaplease · 09/08/2012 06:41

You could have a hormone imbalance. You need tosee your gp to get checked out

Marmiteisyummy · 09/08/2012 07:00

Please go and see your gp, there are some serious things that need to be excluded. Don't leave it.

Just to add to the voiced opinions already. Please get an urgent appointment with your GP. You could be pregnant but it's not showing up yet... but equally it could be something causing your hormones to be off kilter, this needs to be picked up by your GP ASAP, let us know how you get on!

I'm off to the GP this morning, no female doctors available for 2 weeks so i've got to see a male Dr cringe
I'm fairly sure if i was pregnant would be less than 10 weeks, I had treatment for abnormal cerrvical cells in April, definatly was pregnant then. Then a regular period in May & June. July's period didn't appear and would be due next week for Augusts if it arrives. So by all rights if i was pregnant it should have shown up on at least one of the 4 tests i've done by now lol.
Will let you know how i get on. Crapping myself just a little bit now

Good luck with the GP and hopefully the Doctor can give you some answers.

GnocchiNineDoors · 09/08/2012 09:50

Good luck for today. Hope all is fine.

blackteaplease · 09/08/2012 10:25

Good luck

FrillyMilly · 09/08/2012 10:28

Good luck.

I had this a couple of years ago. I had raised prolactin levels which eventually sorted themselves out. They did blood tests, breast exam and sent me for a certain type of eye test to rule out anything sinister but couldn't find anything. At the time I had recently come off the pill so they put it down to my body responding to the changes in hormones.

Well they have confirmed im "probably" not pregnant but want me to do anotherr test Monday just in case - and have taken some blood tests, for thyroid function, and a few other things, results in friday.

He didn't do a breast examination or anything tho :S hopefully friday's results will shed some light on it. Think my hormone levels are probably up the wall as started spotting today as well, not due my next period untill next week & no cramps or anything.
