Hello everyoneGrin! I'm new to mumsnet and just thought I'd start a post to introduce me self Blush.. Im 21 and expecting my first baby. I'm just over 9 weeks and my first scan is in 2 weeks time. I'm really nervous but really really excited! I've been sat waiting for weeks for my scan as I found out I was pregnant when I was 3 weeks and I just want to hurry and see ma baby lol was wondering if anyone fancies sharing some pregnancy stories with me to ease the nerves...

Thanks

Hey, I'm also new to the site and 9 weeks 4 days pregnant :)
oh and I am 24.
This will be my first baby so I don't have any stories but seeing as we are in the same boat, I thought I'd reply to say hello

We haven't told our families or close friends yet (we recently had 2MCs so dont want to tell them til 12 weeks) I told my manager at work and somehow other ppl at work, worked it all out but I think I'm annoying them when I talk about it! so it would be nice to actually be able to talk to someone about it!

Talk to me Smile! I'm 11 weeks with first baby, and comparatively ancient at 39. My friends' kids are all at school or uni... I'm so behind the curve!

BabyStone · 08/08/2012 19:51

aww thanks! congratulations :)

How are you finding it at the moment?

panicnotanymore · 08/08/2012 20:39

I'm ok - not sick, the odd wave of queasiness, but otherwise fine. Had a few bleeds which is scary, but junior is still hanging on in there so I'm positive. Chewing my nails at the thought of the 12 week scan next week.... I'm sure everything is fine, but until I know I'm going to fret.

You?

BabyStone · 08/08/2012 21:00

I was having morning sickness (not actually being sick but my stomach was retching and nausea) and then again late afternoon) then it changed to just evening. I got some sickness bands at the weekend, they are kind of helping.
Chest has got bigger and just feeling tired very early in the evening!

Have you had any scans yet? cos of the bleeds.

I also had some bleeding last week (scary after having 2 previous MC's) bcos of history I rang EPU and I got to have an early scan, then cos of bleeding had another scan. Mind was definitely put at ease, can't wait til 12 weeks then I'll feel more "safe" :)

Hello ladies - if you have a look in the antenatal section, you'll find threads where there are already (probably) lots of posters who are due at the same time as you :)

I booked a couple of scans at the nuffield as my GP is a heartless b*tch with an eye on budgets, who told me to go home, buy some strong painkillers and wait to miscarry Hmm Helpful that. Bug-let is a tough little sod though as in the last one he/she was wriggling about and waving his/her arms. Cute Grin

Sorry about your previous mcs, and best of luck x
