Bleeding at 4 weeks :(

Sorry TMI but bright red blood when I wiped this morning after going for a wee, is there any hope or just not? I know it is still very, very early days but feeling fed up. :(
This has happened twice before, once at 5 weeks and once at 6 weeks. I know I am so luck to have one DD but I wanted a little brother or sister for her! :(
Now I'm wondering if it will ever happen?
I suppose I am just wondering if anyone has had bleeding early on and still turned out to be pregnant?

Morning lolalotta, more ladies will come along and tell you about their experience, most have experienced bleeding early on and gone on to have lovely little babies. I had early bleeding, however my bloody was dark and faded out a few days later. it's so common but make sure to let your midwife know, she will probably tell you to look out for heavier flow and any stomach cramps. Hope all turns out well Hun xx

I had a lot of early bleeding and everything turned out fine in my case, so try not to worry. Do you have a midwife? Give them a call?

Forgive me if this comes out the wrong way, but are you sure you are pregnant at 4 weeks? Have you missed a period? Have you had a pregnancy confirmed?

4 weeks? Could be implantation bleeding? Was there much blood?

Thank you for your replies! I have never really understand this whole pregnancy calculator thingy but according to Dr.Google I am 4 weeks, I had a missed period one week ago and have tested positive on 3 tests....I know it is soooo early but do hard not to get your hopes up!!!!

Then I would give your community midwife a call for advice. But at this stage, as a previous poster said, it could be implantation bleeding.

I had what I thought was a normal period first month (so 2 weeks post conception), another heavy red bleed 2 weeks later, and 2 red bleeds since. At a scan last week all was well. Bleeds aren't necessarily game over, but you should get checked out.
