I've just found i'm 5/6 weeks pregnant and am going on holiday to Dominican Republic in a week. Being the unorganised type, i'm only booked in for my holiday jabs tomorrow. My Dr said i should have any non live vaccines as the illness itself is far more harmful. However the nurse says not to risk it as they won't cover me til at least halfway thru my holiday and as we're staying in an all inclusive resort as long as i'm careful i'm at very little risk and there isn't enough evidence that these injections are safe during pregnancy.
I just don't know what to do for the best! Any advice???
