I have a DD who is 10 so it's been a while since I received antenatal care Smile

Last time you got an anomaly scan at 12 weeks (nuchal fold measurement) and then another at about 20 weeks when you could find out the sex.

Is this still the same?

I went to the GP last week to ask for a viability scan after suffering a MC in January. I wanted some reassurance that all was well this time but she said unless there had been pain or bleeding I wouldn't get one. Happy to say there's no pain or bleeding and my hCG levels are rising (good old CB digi conception indicator Smile) so I'm not overly worried.

The GP said they do a dating scan between 8 and 12 weeks and she would request mine was done closer to 8 weeks than 12. Is this the scan where the nuchal fold is measured or is it just in case my dates are wrong? Will I get another before 20 weeks?

By going to the GP last week I'm assuming she will have referred me to the midwives and I'll hear from them in due course, does that sound right?

I know it will vary from PCT to PCT but give me an idea of what to expect by telling me what you've had so far.

It depends on what type of pregnancy you have. Normally one at 12 & 20 weeks. I did my last pregnancy but i miscarried at 23 weeks. I'm pregnant know only 6 weeks I've already had one due to bleeding I have another on the 22nd at 8/9 wks. Then my 12weeks... the i have one at 16/20/24 because I have a weak cervix. Hope this helps :).
