Can someone remind me what the worst weeks are for morning sickness?

Or does it differ for everyone?

I am 9 weeks and feeling pretty horrendous - not just nausea, but hearrburn, headaches, tiredness etc. Feels pretty much like a monster hangover every day.

Is it likely to get worse after 9 weeks? I was really bad last time, throwing up several times a day, but can't for the life of me remember when it started to get better? I know it went completely at 13 weeks but it was getting better before that.

I'm coming up to 9 weeks now and it's easing off a bit, but I had it severely from 4 weeks onwards!! Thing is, it's different for everyone and I know everybody will say the same thing. I'm guessing if it eased off for you by 13 then by 11/12 it should start to fade out. But I couldn't say for sure.

I found week 9 the worst. I felt sick from about 5-6 weeks till about 17, but that week was particularly awful. It makes sense if you google HCG levels (they have a chart on the American pregnancy site, I know - and other sites too) as between 8 and 12 weeks is meant to be when the levels peak, and after they peak, they level off, then start to decline.

You're fortunate yours went at 13 weeks before, well I think so anyway Grin - I had a bad day yesterday at 18 weeks, thought it had gone!!!

But certainly I noted feeling the worst at about 9 weeks. whatever happens, I doubt it will get any worse - but it might persist for a bit.

I feel for you, hope it passes quickly xx

Oh and 9 weeks was also when I rang the GP because I could not get out of bed for an entire weekend....so the tiredness I'm sure is linked to the same hormones.

I think you are definitely at the worst bit!

Oh I really hope you are right. I was trying to explain to my dad last night what it felt like, but I just couldn't. It's just so......bleurgh.

I've got so much that I need to do today and it's stressing me out a bit - the thought of standing in a post office queue fills me with dread Grin

Also feeding my DS is becoming rather vomit inducing.

Thank you so much for your replies - all the best with your pregnancies Smile
