20weeks down 20 to go!!

Im 20w and i feel like crying it seems years since i first found out.

Im halfway and its kind of scary!!

I have my 20w scan on tuesday.. I have waited 7w and am so happy and overwhelmed i get to see the baby and hopefully find out the sex which i am desperate to no!!

I was 20wks on saturday! my scans friday I cannot wait and really hope to find out the sex!

I agree its a bit scary too, I will have a 4 and 5yo when dc3 arrives. Christmas will be chaotic!

xmasevebundle congratulations, I'm 21 weeks today yesterday, (god I wish I could sleep) we had our scan a few weeks ago and it was great! Although we're having a 'surprise' baby!

I was up all night looking at the baby clothes and how big a 20w old baby is.

Mines at 2pm i think im having a boy the mw said too, i hope i am but i dont mind either way!!

I'm definitely finding out, although was told probably boy at 12 week scan :)

I'm convinced this is a boy, I really hope they can tell me friday! Dd wouldn't let us see little madam!

I'm 20 weeks on Friday, and have my scan Thursday. We know she's a girl, had a private gender scan, but looking forward to getting the reassurance she's both ok, and still a girl!

I was 20 weeks yesterday and have anomaly scan on Friday. I have about 18 weeks to go as have diabetes and am having a c section at 38 weeks - still seems like ages though.

Found out at 13.5 weeks that it's another DS :D and have since had it confirmed again but I will be glad when next Fridays scan is over. I've done his nursery already as in another 8- 10 weeks I'll feel like doing nothing, just have to decide his name now!

Oh god I haven't even bought anything, let alone start nursery! Worried now

Oh don't worry im just super organised with this one as I get fat, knackered and a bit immobile in that order in the last few weeks ( plus I was hoping for a ds again so I could indulge myself in the Cath Kidston Cowboy print for his nursery)

I've had a lot of fun on eBay the last month - I chose a buggy in babies r us and didn't want to pay 350 for it so found a near immaculate one which was the same on ebay for 120, I know some
people are superstitious about nurserys and prams in the house but I figure look on the happy side and I am literally wishing these last 18 weeks away. Sometimes it's good to have three or so months to organise everything then you can relax - I plan on having the bag packed for my cs by 26 weeks or so.

Not desperately worried about the anomaly scan as have had quite a few private scans with a lady who knows me well from my last pg ( it was her that told me a boy this time just before 14 weeks it they don't usually) and if there was anything major I hope and think she would have seen it - had my last one a couple of weeks ago and it seems ok, will still be glad to get Friday over and done with though, loads of growth scans due to diabetes after this one though.

Oh and a cardiac one at 24 weeks for the baby too!

Congratulations, I'm 20 weeks on Friday, due on 28th December with a little boy.

NHS scan not until a week Friday (21 weeks) but had a private scan to find out the gender last Saturday as hospital wouldn't tell us in last pregnancy and wanted to prepare DD was what flavour sibling she's getting!

BuntyCollocks we must be due the same day! I keep looking at the Dec thread but worried it moves too fact for me!

I haven't done any shopping - just got DD baby stuff out of storage!

Pogo yes, same edd! I'm actually on the January one as my original edd was 1/1/13. :)

Ok Bunty, this is getting a little freaky - by LMP my EDD is also 1st Jan.

Only changed to 28th Dec at 12 week scan (which I have little faith in as it was a trainee doing it and she took 4 goes to get a measurement and then didn't seem that confident she'd got it right!)

Hi I am 20 weeks too- due 28th Dec but i will not be going past 37 weeks which case, i have 18 weeks to go....got my 20 week scan this friday :)

Pogo that is weird, as mine also changed at my 12 week scan from what I had it as by LMP!

Are you sharing the flavour on mn? ;) We found out at our gender scan that this one is a DD - over the moon!

How did your scan go xmaseve ?!

My baby was breech and shy so had to try to get them to move and it worked eventually. I'm having a boy :) over the moon. Everything is measuring perfect so very pleased

I'm 20+6, due 21st Dec, and we had a scan last Monday, but I came away sooooo disappointed because the baby was all hunched over and the doctor couldn't tell us if it was a boy or girl. I felt like crying!

Anyway we're going back for a more detailed scan on Monday so I've snapped out of the doldrums now and am keeping everything crossed that its healthy AND we get to find out the flavour next week!!

Hey cake what's with our hunched over babies?! Glucose tablets did the trick so maybe take some sweets with you next time to get baby moving!

bunty having a boy this time, already have a girl who will be 2 this weekend.

Thanks all, I was dying to ask if I could just get up and walk around for a bit, but it didn't seem an option. I got really stupidly panicked at one point as the doctor said she could maybe see a scrotum but no penis, and I thought the baby was deformed!!

I'll take some sweets and have a drink of water or two before Monday - I didn't even know that could work!
