Was dc2 same earliness/lateness as dc1?

Just planning out Xmas and wondering whether dc2, due a week before, will come on Xmas day. Waters broke with dd on due date and she came two days later (induced as infection risk).

No - DD was a good week overdue, DS arrived a few days before EDD. He was over a pound heavier and we think he ran out of room - I was flaming enormous 2nd time.

Both six days late here.... Had I had another, I would have told everyone the due date was six or even seven days after whatever it was.

RancerDoo · 05/08/2012 22:21

Not for me. Dd1 was 11 days late (labour started at 10 days over), dd2 was a day late, labour started on due date.
But had strong feeling through pregnancies that dd1 would be late and dd2 was in more of a hurry!

Similar for me - ds1 was 38+ 3, ds2 was 39+2

RillaBlythe · 05/08/2012 22:25

No! Dd1 was 14 days late, dd2 was 1 day late.

TheThingUpstairs · 05/08/2012 22:26

Similar for me, dd was 40+12, ds1 40+11 and ds 40+10.

mamij · 05/08/2012 22:28

DD1 was 40+1 and DD2 was 38+6.

pinktransit · 05/08/2012 22:30

DD1 was 4 days early.
DD2 was somewhere between 4 and 6 weeks early depending on who's dates you believe (4 weeks by my calc, 6 weeks by docs)...

DD1 was a 6 hour labour, DD2 45 minutes.

No similarity in labours at all. No similarity in personality either, they are utterly chalk and cheese.

Ah but what if dc 1 on time. Was dc 2 then also on time?

Ds1 arrived 37 weeks
Ds2 arrived 37 weeks, 1 day
