20w scan tomorrow- knowing all is ok& finding out the sex

Hi
We have our 20 week scan tomorrow (although im actually 21 weeks plus3 as we've been away). I'm nervous as I know they check for all sorts of anomalies so looking forward to finding out all is well.
Also a little anxious to find out the sex. We both decided we would like to find out so we can be prepared etc ( and also as im soooo inpatient) and I'm really keen to know but at the same time it's going to be a little strange knowing its one or the other as up until now we've had a little name for the bump which won't really suit a boy or girl lol ( it's my first)
I am looking forward to being able to connect and imagine when he or she is here and will be able to start buying things :-)
Not looking for any advice , just to see if anyone else is soon to have their scan or has had it recently- what they thought/ felt etc.

How did you get on? Hubby and I are having arguments over finding out the sex of the baby... he doesn't want to know but I do, seeing as this is probably our only chance of a healthy pregnancy due to endometriosis problems. I think it'd be nice to know, give me a chance to bond with the baby and get prepared better.

Might just go for a 4D scan towards end of pregnancy, apparently you almost always can see what it is!! ;)

Scan went well. Little one is growing well and all seemed well with the measurements etc.
Found out we are having a little BOY!!!
We had already decided to find out so when we mentioned it to the midwife she said 'yep he's definitely a boy, although we're not meant to say 100% - but if it's not a boy I'll eat my hat". Lol
Was amazing seeing him again. Grown so much since the 12 week scan. Amazing to see all the body parts that they measure, legs, arms, kidneys, heart , brain and his little face.
So happy. Now to start buying stuff not bought a thing yet!
Hope u decide soon whether to find out or not. We just wanted to bond with baby knowing what sex it was and also to be able to buy things that we need plus borrow stuff from SILl in pink or blue from her kiddies

Aww congrats that's so exciting! I can't wait for mine next week. This is also our first child.

Husband wants a girl and I keep shouting at him not to say that in front of the baby (aka my bump) incase its a boy and he gets upset lol
