Bit of advice needed, what is the difference between sleep, pram and snow suits?i have been given some padded all in ones and one that is very padded (guessing that's a snow suit) but how can i tell the difference?! Thanks

I think pram suits and snowsuits are the same thing. They are very quilted and are for outdoors in cold weather (use them over actual clothes like a coat).

Sleep suits are the babygros without padding. Used for sleeping for toddlers, or all day and all night for babies.

Sleep suit = babygro as far as I'm concerned, then pram suit and snowsuit are padded/more padded all in ones for wearing outside in the cold.

Hope that helps, somebody will probably be along to correct me in a minute tho!

So if it's padded it's always an over the clothes type suit for outdoors and a sleep suit is a baby grow?Smile thanks I'm guessing a snow suit would be waterproof/extra padded?

sleepsuit - wear for bed and for the first few months in the daytimes too. I saved 'outfits' for visits and when she got a bit older. Layer over a short sleeved bodysuit plus no need for socks too.

pramsuit - wear in the buggy when outside and it's not hot / quite warm

snowsuit - extra padding, shower proof rather than waterproof. wear in the depths of winter. However, I had a december born baby and live in the North East and I never used one of these. I found it better to layer under a pramsuit and layer over with blankets.
