Belly binding

Due for an ELCS next week. Anyone hav any experience of abdominal binding post-partum? If so- which binder did you use and would you recommend it?

I would Google how Malaysian midwives do it - they rub coconut oil and herbs onto the mother's belly, and they use a stretchy, breathable wide wrap of cotton to wrap around the torso.

I do know if needs to be stretchy and give a lot, and completely not like any kind of control wear or spandex or anything. And coconut oil - if you take anything away from this post, believe me when I say coconut oil is the elixir of the gods It is AMAZING stuff and can be used for all sorts of internal and external uses.

Yes- the belly bandit looks good. I wanted one that covers more of the muscles though- have you seen the' squeem'
