thanks popsycal. i am 18 weeks. they checked and said i had antibodies and as i hadnt come into direct contact with the children i need not worry too much. then today, one child went home with 'slapped cheek' syndrome - strain on rubella! great. i was in tears. phoned midwife and she is having my bloods checked again. dont q understand how checking same sample help, but anyway.....cant wait for friday.

Ugh, Egypt - how very stressful and worrying! Don't have any advice I'm afraid (don't know enough about slapped cheek myself) but thinking of you and hope that you get some reassuring news soon.
