Just seen the consultant who has basically told me that due to previous I'm very high risk of complications if I have to have a CS due to a low lying placenta.

I'm so scared. There's nothing I can do to get the stupid thing to move and if it doesn't I could end up with all sorts wrong with me. They never tell you about this shite.

This pregnancy has been really crappy and I'm not sure how much more stress I can take.

Hey Sastra, sorry to hear this. Why high risk, other than the low placenta? Does that mean you're likely to need a CS? Someone on another thread I'm on highly recommended this book: www.amazon.co.uk/Caesarean-Birth-Positive-Approach-Preparation/dp/0956848001/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_t_1

Sorry, I missed that bit didn't I? High risk because of two previous abdominal surgeries (appendectomy which lead to an infection requiring a laperotomy), which means there's likely to be a lot of internal scar tissue.
