Amniotic bands

Hi

I have just been for my 19 weeks scan and found out that I have an amniotic band. The sonographer said it should not cause too many problems at this stage, but that I have to go back for regular monitoring.

Has anyone else had this? I just made the mistake of googling it and now feel quite worried!

:(

On the upside, I am having a little boy - yay :)

Often we don't even mention them as they are often of no consequence. Try not to worry. X
