Size of unborn baby?

Hi, hope someone can help me.

What I would like to find out is; at what point during pg do they worry that your baby may be too big for you to deliver yourself? Does it go off fundal height then perhaps a scan referral to check?

I remember a MW checking me when in for induction with DD - she said baby was about 6lbs. The next day she was born at 7lb 10oz. With DS they said 8lbs, he was 9lbs. This worries me somewhat.

I'm having another boy. Boys are bigger than girls. Subsequent babies get bigger. I always go overdue. Sweeps are now being given later in my area (only at 40+5).

I am 5 ft 3" and a size 6-8 when not pregnant. I can generally fit in chidlren's clothing - age 13 upwards.

I put all this together and get a HUGE baby which, as you know, I think will get stuck at the shoulders and have to be delivered by forceps.

Can anyone help? I need to get this out of my head.
