Pregnancy immediately after MC - do the same testing rules apply?

If you have had a miscarriage, HGC all back down to 0 etc then fall pregnant again - how soon or when do you expect a positive result on a pregnancy test?

I had an early MC just over 2 1/2 weeks ago, woke up today and breasts really sore and tingly (I always get this really on). Could I really have fallen pregnant again so quickly? Is this even possible and if so when do you show as positive on a test?

I thought I was emotionally ok to just try again, and Dr said it was fine, but now I am not so sure!

I think the general consensus, from another thread im on is that just keep testing... As you have not had your AF it's difficult to date. However I reckon if you test 3 weeks roughly from when you started DTD you may get a result?
Just an idea?

And if you are getting sore boobs and this does relate to new pregnancy then you must have decent levels of HCG? Therefore could be picked up by FMU?
