Compo - I think your age also comes into it somewhere but for what it's worth, I'm 36 and had a nuchal fold measurement of exactly the same as your, the adjusted risk factor for me (without any additional blood tests) went down to 1:840 something. Can't remember what just my age related risk was but it was around the 1:200 mark. I also remember my midwife saying that 1.4mm was good too.

thanks Handbagaddiction - that has cheered me up!! I'm 31 so that must be a good thing too!!

I was 35 had nuchal of 1.4mm (equivalent to 1.02 MOM) and with bloodwork my risk was 1:5700 age related risk was 1:370

mine was 1.1 which i was told was good, my risk after bloods came back as 1: three thousand and something

Mine was 1.6; age-related risk was 1:24 (am 44), adjusted risk 1:118. However, the consultant was very positive about it and didn't push for me to have further testing. He even said, and I quote, 'these risks are just invented by someone in an office somewhere!' So, am not worrying. I'll see what the 20wk scan says.

Can't remember what mine actually were but they measured me on one machine where I came out as high risk. Not to worry she said and took me down the corridor to a more finely callibrated machine where I came out as low risk. Read into that what you will...

I was 38 and my dd's was 2.4 which horrified me at the time but I was told although it was at higher end, I shouldn't panic (as it was still under 3.0), with bloods etc it came back as overall risk of 1/998 and she is now 19 months and absolutely fine. At the time I asked on a couple of forums but got no response which also helped to freak me out!

with current pregnancy, now age 40, my result was 1.1 and adjusted to 1/1228 (or therabouts) with bloods and age etc

I would be pleased with 1.4
