I am looking for a buggy I can run with. Can you give me your suggestions and tell me when you started using it? I preferably need something I can use when he's a newborn...

Thank you muchly.

I have read that the One is the BOB from the US. I am still pregnant, being given a buggy so not sure if I can justify getting one but apparently that's the best. Only available in the US annoyingly though...

I've seen people running with a phil and teds, with both seats occupied!!! I have a phil and teds and whilst I haven't done an actual run with it, I have run with it IYSWIM, taken it scrambling etc and it has handled very well.

I used my bugaboo. U can steer it v easily- and with one hand too. It absorbs impact from the ground and can be used on different surfaces. Tis rather expensive though- but I've just given it a clean for dd2 and it looks brand new.

You won't need a running pushchair until 6-12m at the earliest as baby's head isn't stable enough to cope with the joggling from the running - it's 12m if you are running off road/off tarmac as baby needs to wear a bike helmet in case of a spill to protect their head.

Running pushchairs have 16-20" wheels (the bigger the better if you are going off road) with good suspension, a wrist strap and hand brake. Baby Jogger (not City series pushchairs though), Schwinn, BOB, or similar are all good running pushchairs for when the time comes. Swivel wheels aren't great even if they are lockable as they still have some 'shimmy' which can be hazardous if they shimmy when you go over a stone as the pushchair can lurch to one side and tip over.
