Anyone here get pregnant by accident lol

Me and OH weren't planning on having a baby, though having found out a couple of weeks ago we are both over the moon and can't wait to welcome our baby into our wee family. We are expecting DC1 in March

Anyone else get a shock?

Yes it was a very big shock, I was saving up to go traveling, my boyfriend wasn't too fussed on coming. I was on pill but found out in jan that we having a baby and due September. and now we couldn't be happier, moving house next week and it just feels right (if not a wee bit early)

My first was a surprise. I was told I was infertile so we stopped using protection and got pg 6 weeks later! I was absolutely terrified when I got the BFP but DP was quite excited. It wasn't something we'd discussed and just wasn't on the cards so I had no idea he'd be pleased about it.
I was still terrified all the way through the pregnancy and in total denial I'd ever actually have a baby. Well now I couldn't imagine life without her and she's definitely the best thing that has ever happened to us.

Yes a massive shock!!! Only had protected sex twice this year. My due date scan of around 8 weeks actually informed me I was 21 weeks!
Cocked that up didn't I? At least I could pinpoint my conceived dates, if not my LMP!!!!

Er yes. I was travelling in India. Father is an ex-boyfriend i had hung out with in Thailand. I was 7 weeks when i added 2 (missed period) + 2 (growing sore boobs) together.

I am now 32 weeks.

First baby was a suprise. I was 16 years old and had only been with my boyfriend for about 8 weeks.

We are now married and DS has just turned 6.

Baby number 2 was planned but still a bit of a shock as we concieved the first month. I'd been on the pill for nearly 6 years so had prepared myself for 6 months to year of trying.

I'm currently pg with dc4. 1/2/4 all conceived when on the pill.

Yep, apparently somewhere during the switch between one contraceptive and another, something went tits up. I'm now 30+5... Was initially a huge shock but both very happy with it now.

Well it wasn't an accident as such... more of a had too much to drink and forgot i was not taking the pill anymore but as far as my mother is concerned, everything we were supposed to wear was worn, it just simply didn't work. I think the lesson that me and DP have learned is never risk it, and don't go near each other when we've had a drink!! ahaha. We are so pleased though and so excited :D

Yup, got fed up on the pill and took some advice from a friend who had been on this vcf contraceptive for 2.5 years and never got pregnant. Suffice to say, it didn't work!! So am 32 weeks now with a just one year old and 4 year old at home.
still not really got my head round it, but I'm sure will be fine in the end!

Christ yes. On the pill, a complete surprise (and a couple of years early) but it has began to settle in now - sort of.
