it's so lovely & warm but I'm just so sweaty all the time! I bought loads of cotton maxi dresses but they aren't keeping me cool at all?

What is everyone else wearing?

A gypsy style loose top and jeans.

Pascha · 27/07/2012 15:00

jeans and a vest top. Its not uncomfortably hot here today though - about 22°. Yesterday was a knee length linen skirt and a vest. I don't think its the fault of your clothing thats making you sweaty, its just hot.

Pascha · 27/07/2012 15:01

A good way to cool down is to run your wrists under the cold tap for a few minutes.

Superslinger · 27/07/2012 15:08

My husband's shirt! The extra space/ looseness helps the air circulate!

HeyMicky · 27/07/2012 15:09

Cotton dresses, but only knee length. Underwear makes a huge difference - keep it all cotton, hoik your boobs up away from your belly

Pascha · 27/07/2012 15:11

My husband is a stick. Even pre-pregnancy I couldn't have done his shirt up.

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 27/07/2012 15:12

Shorts and a vest top most days or long dresses. I've started carrying round a little bottle of baby powder to help with 'chafing' - gotta love being pregnant!

Aworryingtrend · 27/07/2012 15:15

I am at work so wearing a jersey knee length skirt from Asos and a jersey sleeveless maternity top from Next. I have air con though Grin

theressomethingaboutmarie · 27/07/2012 15:20

to be totally candid?. a bra, t-shirt and pants Grin. I'm working from home, have the fan on and am very comfortable. I'm trying not to look at my every expanding thighs however (35 wks pg and have been scoffing way too much cake)?.

shouldIbecrossaboutthis · 27/07/2012 15:36

I think the problem is my boobs they used to be 34dd and are how 34h! They just get so hot. Can't believe some of you are in jeans!nnwish I was in my bra and pants, wouldnbe so much better. It's 28 degrees in my house and I have a fan and all the doors open!

Hey ho, guess I had better suck it up. Might try some shorts tomorrow, scare the world with my massive thighs :)

When it was mega hot I wore shorts/ strapless tops or dresses.
Also maternity linen trousers and vest top.

Today I wore maternity skinny jeans and a short sleeve top.

If I'm indoors I just wear my pants Grin

woopsidaisy · 27/07/2012 17:28

I'm wearing this tunic, with these leggings.
If I'm too hot at home I just take the leggings off, as the tunic is covers my bum! I'm nearly 39 weeks!

ScrambledSmegs · 27/07/2012 17:45

A knee-length maternity dress. Maxi dresses are way too hot for me, I need to feel the breeze around my gusset Grin

SimplySoo · 27/07/2012 18:03

Out/at work: Jeans and short sleeved top (thankfully we have air-conditioning!) and sandals. At home: bra top and pants only...

Badgerina · 27/07/2012 18:18

If out: maxi dress. If at home: underwear.

kidcrayola · 27/07/2012 18:25

Shorts and a loose t-shirt, been trying not to go out unless I've really needed to in this hot weather, my house is nice and cool, so been using it as an excuse to take it easy.

ellesabe · 27/07/2012 19:49

I'm wearing shorts and a skimpy vest-top around the house. Then I chuck a floaty top on over the best when I go out and need to preserve my modesty a bit!

ellesabe · 27/07/2012 19:49

...over the vest

propercharlie · 27/07/2012 19:53

Today - Leggings and a jersey maternity dress/long top - no bra. I HATE wearing bras at the best of times.

This eve - PJ bottoms and one of DH's white cotton t-shirts - super comfy :)

MissPollysTrolleyed · 27/07/2012 21:40

I'm in maternity chinos, a non-maternity t-shirt and a pair of Birkenstocks. Felt really comfy today. Very soon moving to my pjs - a pair of cotton boxer shorts and a maternity vest.

shouldIbecrossaboutthis · 27/07/2012 22:25

I'm in bra and pants now!! I'm going to the Olympics tomorrow and a bit worried about the heat, shame bran and pants isn't socially allowed.

Might try maternity linens trousers tomorrow, bit worried about the lack of airflow between my thighs but at least no chaffing with all the working.

Isn't pregnancy glamorous??!
