I'm 24 weeks now and have already put on a total of 28lbs which is more than 10lbs more than calendars are saying I should have.

But I haven't changed my diet at all and I've not out on any weight anywhere but my bump and boobs. My boobs have gone up from a 36DD to a 36H.

My face, legs and arms are all exactly the same. My bump doesn't look any bigger than the picturs in my book for my size.

So am worrie as to why I'm so much heavier than I should be?

I don't think it's anything to worry about as long as you were a healthy weight /bmi before the pregnancy. It could be a lot of water retention during this heat in which case keep up your fluid intake.

I was concerned about my weight gain but midwife shrugged it off - saying everyone's different and there is no normal amount of weight to gain.

Hi Rowan, I wouldn't worry too much as I think if there was cause for concern your mw would discuss it with you. In my first pregnancy I put on a massive 5 1/2 stone - eat healthily, etc - a lot of water retention. Mw not worried about it and I lost it all by the time DD was 8 months - must have been the BFing as I didn't diet! I'm 22 weeks with DC2 and have put on 2 stone already - it's obviously just the way my body does pregnancy Grin.

Thanks girls. It's reassuring to know others in same boat and lost quick.

So much pressure on about weight in general I think I'm finding it hard to accept being big!
