I'm only 6 weeks pg so not sure what 'should' be happening and of course everyone is different. But I told the news to 2 close friends y'day and both expressed serious surprise that I wasn't peeing much more than usual (uterus growing?) and/or suffering from any sickness. I'd been quite relaxed about my relative lack of 'symptoms' up to that point but now I'm wondering if it's a bad thing? For the last week (since we found out) I've just had the absurd swollen breasts thing (enjoying that, despite the discomfort!) and no real sickness (yet...) and certainly no increased need to pee...

Anyone have similar experiences?

It's so weird when you're doing this for the first time and have no idea what's normal for you...Confused

I'm 23 weeks and didn't get any noticeable symptoms till at least 7 weeks. I never had an increased need to wee in the first trimester (and afaik I don't have a retroverted uterus). As everyone says, please don't worry and try to see your lack of symptoms as a good thing!

emeraldgirl1 - I'm in the same very fortunate, knock on wood, situation. No morning sickness, no noticeable extra pees, etc. But at 12 weeks I have very sore boobs, am starving, and am already getting a noticeable belly. DH looked at me over the weekend and said something like, "Wow you are pg. Guess we have to tell people." Hmmm...

Are you still symptom free?

So turns out I was tempting fate... All day nausea and morning vomiting has well and truly started. I am 8 weeks on Friday.

Which has left me wondering how I am ever going to manage work, especially my 1 hr commute there and back. Feeling thoroughly miserable. When will it go away!!!!!!

I've not had either. I think I have a ridiculously large bladder anyway, but I've pretty much been peeing normally up until now (25 weeks), the baby's bigger and keeps pressing on my bladder!

Congratulations. : )

Emeraldgirl enjoy feeling good! I didn't have any sickness or excessive tiredness with my two either, and realise I was very lucky. Chat to your sister and your Mum - this is most likely to give you an idea of what might be normal for you.

So I've just turned 8 weeks with twins. Conceived via ivf. I've never been this far along before and obviously I'm terrified of what could go wrong. I'm questioning every little change. I was peeing quite frequently and couldn't go through the night without getting up at least once. Now I'm peeing less than when I was pregnant and am so paranoid it's a bad sign. Obviously at this stage the symptoms are the only thing that make you believe you are actually pregnant. I still have a while to wait before the next scan. Has anyone else experienced this?

6 weeks is really early for you to be rushing to the bathroom every two seconds. Not everyone is vomiting all day either. My sickness and fatigue didn't start until about 8 weeks and lasted until 13 weeks. I'm 30 weeks today and all I can say is, enjoy being able to leave the house without having to run to the nearest toilet every 3 seconds. My baby is currently using my bladder as a trampoline. Try to relax and not worry!

Thank you @abeanbaked. I'm so scared and it seems everyone has their own norm. I just need to try and relax and nuture my 2 little buns. X
