Anyone else get this - did you find it was worse or improved in pregnancy? I've suffered with it for a couple of years and have managed in the summer with sunscreens and steroid cream/antihistamines to manage flare ups. However at 8 weeks pregnant I can't take the tablets or cream, but I want to be able to head outside in the summer! Anyone have any tips? :)

Sympathy Lexi. Mine was worse during pregnancy - I also had a cold type allergy too and came out in really bad hives on areas exposed to the cold. It was joyous.

I think all you can do is cover-up really and take it very slowly with your initial exposure. Which sunscreen do you use? I use Boots Soltan as it has 5 star UVA protection and find that this is the only one I can safely use.

Sympathy to you too, it's a bit grim isn't it? Thanks for the heads up about it being worse, I think I need to be extra careful! I've used Soltan and also one of the anthelios sunscreens on my face as it doesn't turn me into a greaseball - I learnt the hard way that not all sunscreens are created equal Angry
