Well does anyone else just that? A lopsided bump?
My bump sits really far to the right and dd will not move :D

My sister did, her DS was happily wedged under her ribs and refused to move - he even came out with a dent in his head where he's been up against her left rib for so long. His head is dent-free now! She never got comments though so I think she noticed it more than anyone else did. :)

Loislane78 · 22/07/2012 13:34

Yep me too, been like it for wks with little sign of moving now at 35+. Baby is head down with back/bum up the right hand side, a good 2-3 inches further out than the left side. Don't think other people notice though and pretty normal by all accounts :)

Pickles77 · 22/07/2012 13:37

It's blooming uncomfortable though isn't it? I have what I believe to be a foot constantly stuck out of my side Grin

Yeah, I haven 't really had any of the rib kicking people talk about as same as you, kicks all been down the side. At first I thought LO was transverse but doc checked and said all fine head down. I have a hard lump to the right if my belly button - its baby's butt :)

Pickles77 · 22/07/2012 13:47

Hahaa yes I have that too! Thought it was her head. She must be in a very strange position! I hope she doesn't pop out all lopsided Confused

Yep, she's head down atm and what I assume is a bum sticks right out on my left, to the point that others have noticed (DH and Mum)

NellyBluth · 22/07/2012 21:14

DD was lopsided the whole time. Noticeably so, friends would comment! She didn't come out lopsided though Grin

Pickles77 · 22/07/2012 21:16

Grin that's reassuring!

Baby has been to the left for ages. Lots of wriggling but doesn't really change position at all. Bum sticks out to the left and he enjoys stretching his feet out to the right so I end up triangular. Out of interest, which side do you mainly sleep on? (38+4)

Pickles77 · 23/07/2012 09:46

I sleep on my left, or try to Smile

I sleep on my left, baby is comfortably kicking into my right ribs, pretty sure there's an arse or something there too... really REALLY uncomfortable, plus the little monkey refuses to move. I'm 27 weeks today Grin

Whiteangel · 23/07/2012 18:22

I was advised to sleep on left as spine, pelvis etc are the heaviest bits and so sink to the left which reduces chance of baby being back to back.

Mine is always on the right too, seems to prefer that side. I can see that it's lopsided when I'm laying down at night, least she's comfy bless her! xxx

Pickles77 · 23/07/2012 18:50

Oh no puddles Grin

I'm glad im not alone. The only time she moves left is to kick something, such as a worktop or a dog Grin

Sorry, good luck

AmandinePoulain · 23/07/2012 19:49

jenner I'll expect a baby with a dent in her head then - she's breech and firmly wedged under my ribs, the mw commented last week that she's really tucked in and unlikely to go anywhere! (I'm 35 weeks).

I'm lopsided with more baby on the right, which fits in with the sleeping theory - try as I can I just can't sleep on my left, my heartburn is worse if I do and I just can't get comfy. I prefer that theory to the mw's one that I have a 'funny shaped' pelvis which she diagnosed me with last week Grin (my 4yo dd was also in a strange position - back to back with her head turned to the side so I needed a emcs)

JennerOSity · 24/07/2012 10:48

Arf! My DN looked like he had been clobbered with a crow bar! He didn't seem bothered though and has a perfectly rounded skull now! Grin
