Hi, apologies if I'm posting on the wrong page.
Can anyone recommend where I can get some half decent but not massively expensive maternity clothes - I'm size 20?
Thanks
Charlotte

I got some very well designed stuff in Matalan the other day, they have more in store than online, although I don't think every store stocks it. I got some gorgeous baby stuff too :o

Am 21 weeks and the upper end of a size 12, the cut on 2 t shirts and a pair of linen trousers is generous imo, i would be swamped if i went up a size

Isabella Oliver does your size and has a sale on maternity wear at the moment so you might get some good value stuff

I found some nice stuff in h&m . I'm 16-18 . Im looking for some cheap t shirts for work I'm really bulging out of everything now . I'm 25 weeks . I think I might just try bigger sizes in the t shirts but I think they would end up too big at the shoulders .

Another one recommending h&m. I found them the best 'in store' rather than online and also their non mat tops arr very long so good to cover bumps.

Willow, i have some 14 and 16 "normal" stuff (it's what size i was this time last year) and it's really unflattering. The maternity stuff shows the bump off rather than making me look that size all over iyswim?

I'm really really paranoid, though, lost 2 stone by kicking anti-d's and am currently at the stage where, if i don't dress carefully, i look like I've piled it all back on. If it weren't for the scan pics I'd think i was having a pie not a baby Blush

Saw some size 20 maternity clothes in.Dorothy Perkins the other day, so you could try there.

Not sure what sizes Next do, but lots of people recommend those on here. Best to try online, as not many stores carry much.

I have bought bits from Verbaudet (again online) and have seen ASOS recommended on MN. Asda do some bits too.

I really rate Matalan for decent maternity t-shirts though - I bought lots of the twin packs!!

M&S don't carry any in stores but again, you could try online - I haven't looked myself.

I bought (and sold) a lot of my stuff on eBay :-)

EBay. Loads of bargains on there.

CharleyAB · 23/07/2012 16:03

Thank you all, that will keep me nice and busy at work tomorrow looking at :). I was trying to get away with normal stuff for as long as possible but think I have to give up very soon!

Hello,

I have bought a couple of bits on ebay and somewhere I really recomend (although you may live too far away) is the Mamas and Papas factory shop in Huddersfield as I have gotten trousers, dresses, tops and only paid £5 for each item! Total bargain considering how much they are full price in the shops!

I have found not many high street stores have a good selection, they all stock the same plain t-shirts and work pants and paid or jeans.

I got some nice stuff from Topshop however.

Hope you find some nice things :)
