Hello, 37 weeks and wondering when to buy nursing bras, haven't noticed a great difference in my size yet, so thinking I should wait. When is the best time?

TIA Smile

About 37/38 weeks is usually reccommended. Have them fit as tight as is comfortable possible on the loosest hook in the band (your back will go smaller) and allow for a bit of growing room in the cup.

I would say buy 1 at 38 weeks just to get you through then don't buy any more until your milk comes in. The 4 I bought at 38 weeks didnt fit properly within about 4 weeks after birth

When I had my DD, I had to get new bras quite regularly throughout the pg as I went up 1 back size & a couple of cup sizes. M&S recommend getting measured at about 37-38wks, when they seem to recommend going back to your previous band size & allowing for a cup increase of around 2 cups immediately following the birth. After your milk has come in, they do tend to shrink back a bit though, so veeee is right, don't get loads BUT I leaked hugely, and couldn't bear sitting in a wet bra all day. I had bought a twin-pack of 34Gs (because they didn't do the 32GG size she thought I would need!!) and had a few sleep bras that I could wear too.

I breastfed until my DD was 9mths, so bought new bras once the milk production had settled down and they lasted the whole time I was feeding her. John Lewis used to have a good range, & obviously Mothercare do them.

I actually waited until DS was about a week old. I survived in support vests until that point (well, I was only in hospital/home anyway and my boobs were never that big - E cup at their largest).

I waited until my boobs were great big square milk full things after 4 days, measured myself and went down m&s.
Lasted right the way through the 7 months I fed.
