Fed up at 40+6

Just want a moan cos Im fed up really. Most overdue Ive ever been (other times 40+2 and 40+4).

Fed up of the pain. fed up of the contractions which are lasting days but on and off. fed up of people texting me and asking how long it will be. How do I know? Ive been in pain for over a week- every day stupid text messages and phone calls asking me for news.

I just want to go into labour. I have been up since 3 am and I am scared that when I do get into established labour I wont have the energy to actually give birth.

Every day Im getting hours and hours of contractions every 5-10 mins; the bath has stopped working and paracetamol doesnt do anything anymore so Ive given up on it. Just want to stop feeling so blah

It sucks doesn't it. If it is any consolation I had days and days of pre-labour with dc2. I was 3cm dilated four days before she was born. The afternoon i actually went into labour i figured that doing squats brought on the contractions so did then every three mins. It sent me into established labour. When I actually went into proper labour it was more intense but the contractions were genuinely less painful- they felt like they were doing something. I was only in established labour for a couple of hours and it was lovely. So easy!

Hopefully you've done the majority of the hard work. My most painful contraction was in Starbucks two days before she was born!

Hi mum of 3 I will join u :( I think I may have been having contractions on and off for past 3 days well more like period pains/back ache? Been up half the night ! Paracetemol and warm bath does nothing anymore and I'm plain damn right miserable now :( I'm 39 weeks on sat so obv not as done as you but after these blinking twinned I've had enuff!!!

Aahhhhh me too went into hospital 2 days ago as was concerned with babys movements. MW says baby fine but you are havng 1 contraction every ten mins you shud go into labour soon over next few days. I'm still waiting (1st baby, 40+1 today) NO fricking idea what to expect or look out for its awful x
