Third Trimester - Go slow or fly by?

Entering the third trimester and to me it still feels like I've got a long way to go. It's not like I've got anything to complain about, no spd or constipation etc etc. Apart from being uncomfy at night and tired I'm feeling pretty good. Just pure old impatience. I'm interested to hear how you ladies who have been there and got the T-shirt found the last few months?

I'm feeling similar (am 28+5). It's good to be on the "home strait" but 3 months to go still seems like a long time! From what I remember from last time, I think it will feel like it's going slow at the time, but then you get to 38w and it feels like it's gone quick, if that makes any sense at all?? I'm trying to give myself things to look forward to, family visits etc, to count down the weeks with. But then I feel like I'm wishing away the last few weeks with DD being my only child :(

It flew by for me! Your belly will get bigger on a daily basis and each week there will be something new, stretch mark, piles, itching belly, swollen ankles... Really selling it aren't I?!!

Seriously, for me the last trimester was the best. But I am one of the weirdos who really enjoyed being pregnant. Your LO will really start moving around now. Especially after dinner, or when you've eaten something cold (try ice-cream and see).

You'll also really start 'feathering your nest' and that will pass the hours.

Not long to go now ladies. You're on the home stretch. Good luck!!!

Last time - so slow. Things kept going wrong so I was in and out of hospital just wishing the baby would arrive so I could st least see if he was moving/breathing/growing. I stayed at work far too long and just couldn't concentrate. Our house was uninhabitable. The list goes on.

This time, touch wood everything seems to be fine and this whole pregnancy seems to have flown by.

Sorry but for me - slooooooow. But then the whole pregnancy seems slow to me. Was slow with dd1. And is slow now (35weeks)

Mine's gone so quick so far but I'm now 32+1 and I feel like if I'm not in labour by 38 weeks I'll cry! I'm in Spain and its really hot though, my actual pregnancy has been totally fine.

I found time slowed down the further on I got and when i got to my due date time seemed to go backwards. Time dragged in direct proportion to how uncomfortable I was, which was very in the last 4 weeks. Can't breathe properly, can't sleep properly, can't poo properly, can't eat, can't ride, can't drink wine..... It's no fun! I do know women who never experience any of the above misfortunes, I hope you don't either!

Time does drag in the last two weeks, I'm due tomorrow and this week has gone sooo slow. And that's with keeping busy seeing people, last minute shopping and occupying my toddler. I'm really not expecting this baby to show tomorrow either, so probably be another week or so of extreme slowness.
