Am almost 9 weeks pg.

This week (touching wood) the nausea isn't quite as bad but the hunger is! I've developed a habit of having a breakfast in the middle of the night and another one in the morning! I'm just so hungry.

Sitting here at 3.30am eating toast, cheese and glass or orange juice; I will have the same again at 7.30. Blush

Is this greedy? I really don't think it is as my stomach is growling like an angry dog.

Will this starvingness last until the baby comes? Hmm Blush

You are growing a placenta which is a big organ.
Tis a phase and will pass.
Congratulations and joy in yr pregnancy.

I had the same. I would wake up in the middle of the night hungry so always had some food nearby. Also the nausea was worse in the morning if i woke up on a completely empty stomach. Smaller but regular meals seemed to do the trick. Enjoy your pregnancy! Smile

I used to wake in the night, not feeling hungry but couldn't settle again. Started having a snack as advised by my sister, she had the same thing, and it worked. I'd go straight back to sleep after a glass of water and something like cereal, fruit, crackers etc.

Congratulations on your pregnancy
