Any advice much appreciated.

We've been given a Mammas and Pappas travel system which supposedly is usable from newborn. Only u can't make it like completely flat. Do newborns have to be completely flat?

Is it a sola? If so, it doesn't go totally flat but its pretty much flat and we used it for our last one from birth. You can buy a separate carrycot if you wanted total flatness but we never bothered.

No it's a viaggio.

It's at about a 39 degree angle.

No it's a viaggio.

It's at about a 30 degree angle.

Thanks for replying.

Isn't the viaggio the name of the car seat? That's the one we have for the sola. Did a quick search on mamas and papas and they don't appear to make a peak called that.

Our sola didn't lie totally flat but it was pretty straight so baby wasn't bent and it wasn't on enough of an angle to case problems with head support.

Pram not peak!

EnglishGirlApproximately · 18/07/2012 15:12

I'm sure Primo Viagio is the carseat? Is it going on the chassis of a Switch, Ultima or Pramette?

If so it should only be used for 2 hours.

Is it the one where you unzipp the lining and fold it backwards so the baby faces you

missnevermind · 18/07/2012 15:21

Prammette that was the one.

justlemonade · 18/07/2012 16:01

I have one of those. It's not 100% flat when it's in the pram function but certainly flat enough. I wouldn't say a 39 degree angle.', mine is more flat than that though

ninani · 18/07/2012 17:47

We have a pramette but not the car seat. I am sure that either way of configuring it before or after 6 months it can get completely flat. Does the baby sink in a bit which creates the angle you are talking about?

Rowanhart · 18/07/2012 23:42

Hi. It comes with a car seat too. I'm confused. Lol.

Sorry I meant 30 degree angle. Haven't had the baby yet. Not due until November.

So just lemonade did you use it with newborn and was it okay?

Thanks for the advice all.

What does it say on the chassis? If its the Ultima, Switch or Pramette they're fine to use from newborn
