Bought a product the other week called eve lom cleanser and was assured that it was safe to use during pregnancy. It contains a blend of 4 aromatic oils one of which is clove oil and I have just found out that this should be avoided at all costs during pregnancy. Does anyone know what damage might I have done?

I believe it's highly unlikely to have had any adverse effect

it will only be a very small amount/highly diliute rather than a concentrated essential oil

so don't worry

its very unlikey to have much clove oil in it, so I dont think you have anything to worry about.
I would err on the side of caution though and not use it during pregnancy.

I own a health shop and the only oils we reccommend during PG are lavender and mandarin and neroli, at a concentration of 1.5%.
Dont use any oils in the first 3 months though.

hope that helps Smile
