Is it OK to warm the bump a bit?

Hiya, I'm 32 weeks and the bump is really starting to ache! I know hot water bottles on the bump are not a good idea, but if I only used warm water and wrapped it in a towel, would that be OK? Or a wheat bag only heated a little bit?

Well, I used a hot water bottle on my lower back towards the end of the pregnancy. I like my baths very warm and thought the heat from the bottle wouldnt be worse than that.

Have you got any bump bands for additional support during the day?

I found wrapping a fleece blanket round really worked - gave me a lovely cosy feeling that other blankets didn't (and it looked delightful)

I think that next time I will make myself a fleece bump band it was so nice.

Hot water bottles are not a good idea? I used to sleep with one under my bump every night, both pregnancies. As hot as I could make it that woudn't actually burn my skin much .

Also used to have very very hot baths, always have.

Thanks! Have done really well with the pregancy paranoia so far, but is starting to creep in a bit. Will look at bump bands as need a solution that works at my desk for a few more weeks. Not sure how boss would feel about me wrapping myself in a fleecy blanket!
