This will be DC2, DS was born 4 years ago and I don't remember this happening. I am worried as I have a planned c-sec on 26th and don't really want baby coming early. I might be talking nonsense as I slept terribly last night, hurting all over. Is this a sign of early labour, or more of a 'countdown' that I just put up with?

Call your MW and see what they say. Depending on your reasons for a CS you might need monitoring and assessment.

Yeah would definitely call someone. This is very similar to how 1 of my labours started.

Sounds like things are starting with you. The bad nights sleep could be a sign of impending labour, rather than the reason for todays "off" feeling. I would make sure your bags are packed, and get childcare for DC1, just in case. I think if you contatct delivery suite, they'll want you in for a check over, just in case

Oh God! Thanks everyone, will speak to MW.

Good luck, hope all is well :)

Just spoken to MW who thinks it's a bug, but if symptoms worsen I should call the delivery suite. Hmm Not sure what to think now, but making sure bag etc ready just in case.

Call delivery suite anyway.

Hi AKMD. I spoke to the DS yesterday pm, they said to drink water, lay on my side, try and sleep and monitor baby's movements. Did that, felt better, but this morning still nauseous. The DS said if things worsen to go in. Bit disappointed in my MW though, she wasn't really interested/bothered.
