Hi everyone,

I was hoping some of you can share your experiences if what I am currently going through. I'm 5 wks pregnant with my first baby. I was referred to the early pregnancy clinic this morning due to bleeding and stabbing pains last night. This morning I had an internal US which showed 1 normal sac with an egg inside and 1 empty sac. They said that the empty sac could be a bleed but it's hard to tell. I'm going back next Tues for a rescan to see what's happening/happened.

In the meantime I'm worrying sick about what is going on. The bleeding mostly comes when I wee but has subsided today and is now just few drips of brown blood rather than a 'gush' of bright red I had before. The pain has subsided too.

Has anyone else been through this and had a baby?

I'm sorry I don't know any of the answers to your questions but am bumping you in the hope that someone else will.

I hope everything's ok for you.

Sounds like it could be a Sub-Chorionic Hematoma.

I know a few people who miscarried one twin and the other survived and they gave birth to one healthy child at full term.
