I feel awful. I keep getting, well, The Runs Blush. I get slight cramps and feel a bit sicky then Im running to the loo.

I did have a dodgy tum with my other two at the end but I can't remember it being this bad.

I have a 5 yr old and 2.5 yr old to look after all day and im struggling Sad.

Now I do now have an underactive thyroid after my last baby. Im on Levothyroxine for that but my levels are fine so shouldn't be that.

I am anemic and on Iron tablets and although they do kind of upset things down there ive been on them for 4/5 weeks and this is new.

Also (oh yes it's all going well this PG), They found high glucose in my urine last week and im going for a diabetes test on Fri this week. I have changes to a low GI diet, basically no sugars but quite a normal diet. Ive just cut out fruit juice, sweet stuff and too much bread so it's not a huge change in diet and certainly doesn't involve stuff that will upset the stomach.

Does diabetes upset your stomach?

Just wondering. Also nervous as my waters went early with both of them following upset stomachs. At least they were almost 37 weeks though.

I'm 28 weeks and I have this too atm - am also on levothyroxine (long term) and 31mg iron (6 weeks)! My belly seems super sensitive to fibre at the moment (and yet I'm craving bran flakes and fruit like you wouldn't believe Hmm ).

I wouldn't really worry about it unless you start getting dehydrated; you might just have a bug? :)

PS, I think it's normal to have a dodgy tummy before labour; I hear your body has a clearout beforehand (many MNers also report being sick) -- so it's likely the upset stomachs were a symptom of labour, rather than its cause iyswim! :)

Thanks fluffy. Yes probably reading too much into it, just trying t work out which thing is causing what but may be a bug right enough.
Im chalk white and certainly look like i have a bug.

Im on 200mg of iron. My stomach hates them!
