Forgetfulness in third trimester?

Does anyone else have this?
I think DH is beginning to wonder if there's actually something wrong with me...

I'm 33 weeks, and doing things like putting odd things in the fridge, saying the same thing to DH twice in 10 minutes (without remembering I've said it before). Then tonight I moved my laptop, and then two minutes later asked DH - where did you put my laptop? - thinking he'd moved it! Blush

Does this sound vaguely normal? This is my second child but I don't remember being so crazy wooly headed at this point last time!

I haven't had it but everyone seems to talk about 'pregnancy brain' like it's normal... apparently a lot of people go like this.

I've had baby brain since very early on (although I was pretty forgetful and disorganised before) however, it has got worse (30 weeks) I have on several occasions asked the same question 2 or 3 times in a few mins and told DH the same thing many times in an hour. I'm a teacher and the children are also suffering hearing me say the same thing more than once, however, they're not as polite as DH and quite happily tell me I've already said that as TA giggles in the background. I've started asking 'have I said this before?/asked that already?'

Getting annoying for me but others think its hilarious!

I was incredibly forgetful and generally a bit confused when I was pregnant! My baby is now almost 9 months and I have not improved one bit Sad, if anything I got clumsy, more forgetful and totally away with the fairies (like DP says Blush).
I hope it gets better for you... There doesn't seem to be much hope for me at the moment Angry

Yes, I tend to go a bit bovine and stupid late in pregnancy. Last time around I lost the ability to connect the concepts 'right' and 'left' to the correct words (and haven't regained it very well). It sounds ridiculous, but DH will tell you I very suddenly became so much worse at giving directions. '

Me: 'Turn right here. No, right. No! not here! The other one!'

DH: 'You meant left, didn't you?'

Me: 'yeah'

Even thought DS is nearly 3, I'm still doing it!
