Pain below left breast...could it be that the cyst is still there?!

Briefly...discovered 26mm cyst at 12 week scan...drs/mw's said not to worry, totally normal, on left ovary.

At 20 week i asked if there was any sign of it, and the mw said she couldn't see it but it could be obscured by the baby, and the placenta.

I'm now 23 weeks. Stabbing pains started yesterday. Just short, sharp pains meaning I have to hold onto the area just below my left breast! Kind of where my ribs are (except I can't feel them any more!)

Rang the mw, she really didn't seem that bothered.

I'm thinking - could it be that the cyst is still there and now causing a problem? What problems can a cyst cause?

Is it just wind?! (I'm constipated to hell :( )

Could it be a blood clot? (I do have blood clotting issues, but when I asked the mw I got dismissed)

Any advice? Any one else had this? The pain only comes on late afternoon, early evening, so it's not constant. It's annoying and yes, painful. Baby seems to be fine, checked the heartbeat with my doppler, everything as it has been.

I'd probably make a GP appointment for this... I guess there's only so much non baby stuff a midwife knows.
