And if one more person says to me while looking at my very obviously pregnant tum "Haven't you had that baby yet?" I may not be responsible for my actions.

Is that worse than being asked the same question when in fact you HAVE had the baby four days ago .....?

FIL keeps asking the question (we don't get on) am 38 weeks and now I just reply, yes we had it 3 days ago just not telling anyone - now f*ck off and leave me alone (ok the last bit is in my head!)

I'm getting the "how long u got"? I'm gonna tattoo 2 weeks left on my head !!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr fek off u annoying ppl ! Lol

I stopped answering people a couple of weeks ago. I don't mind the 'thinking of you' texts and fb messages... but the whole 'any news yet?' just seems greedy . I've disabled people being able to post on my facebook for now cos I have friends who I KNOW would congratulate me straight away and I'd rather wait to announce it myself... dunno if that seems weird or not! Although it did occur to me today that, since I haven't been answering people, they might start to think something's wrong . I don't want that either.

That's quite a good idea actually, HelenHen. One of my friends was seen in the hospital corridor having just had her baby by someone on her FB list - that person then congratulated her very publicly... but the good news hadn't been announced, even to family.

My DBrother text me 'Have you had it yet?' which made me . Like Pootle said, I felt like replying - oh yeah, about a week ago. Forgot, sorry.

I think I did it wrong though as people have since posted on my facebook . Gonna have to have another look into that one. That's terrible though... why don't people think? When people have had babies, if nobody's said anything on facebook yet, I either ask if I can or wait until loads have posted. I've turned my phone off this morning

I really know people mean well and all and not sure why the whole thing is annoying me. It's annoying hubby too. His friends are texting constantly, even though he stopped answering... then they started texting me!
