I am due in just over a month but am not sure what type of birth is best for me. I have had herpes for a number of years and although symptomless, know that I have had outbreaks from time to time. It appears that current NHS thinking is that the risks of a cesarian outweigh the risks of my baby catching herpes from me. However, I am very worried about passing onto my baby the virus as it can be very serious. Does anyone have or had similar experiences?
