39 weeks and feeling very emotional

Hi all
I've managed to get to 39 weeks after two previous prem deliveries. I seem to be very emotional and tearful at the moment. Not sleeping well and getting up every hour for the toilet probably isn't helping though.
I keep having contractions but then they stop. I had my show 2 weeks ago, have been trickling fluid/discharge/waters etc for about a week and have constant lower backache.
I feel like i could burst into tears at any moment :(

Not long now but have u spoken to midwife? Don't like the sound of your trickling fluid. Are you able to get enough rest?

I am 38 weeks tomorrow but having an elective c section so know the end is in sight? I am also waking every hour but luckily my hubby is letting me sleep in plus the 2 kids will be in nursery until I recover from the c. I have Ben taking paracetamol too just to get rid of little niggles and it is helping.

I hope u feel a bit better soon!

I completely sympathise, almost 38 weeks and feeling ridiculously wrung-out and over emotional, likewise not getting much sleep either, from pain in hips and constantly needing the loo.

Have a CS planned for 40+0 so know there's an end in sight, but still cherishing a hope that I'll go into labour before then so I get chance to try.

Agree with have you spoken to MW over trickling fluid...

Yes I was worrying too - not sure about what. Developing a cough so am worried it'll develop into chest infection and thus postponement of c which is due on thursday! I also seem to contract for the first half of then night and then it settles down the second half. Dd also had a bad cough and took her to drs the other day.gp said the ears were dull but he couldn't see infection - butoday she is complaining of sore ears!!!! Just given her cal pol but she is grumpy as hell!
