I have my 20 week scan tomorrow 9.15 am and i can't stop worrying to the point i can't eat (and that's very unnatural for me)
I have felt the baby move but only very low down and more to the right side..Is this normal? What is normal?

Ahhh Freaking out! x

Don't worry...I didn't feel my baby move until 22/23 weeks as i had an anterior placenta. Even then it was very faint 'did i really feel that' sort of movements.

Congratulations by the way!

Are you going to be finding out the sex of your baby?

Aw thankyou i suppose it varies so much in each person!

Yes we are hoping to find out, i tried to kid myself into believing i didn't want to but now its so close i'm too impatient!

Have you found out? How was your 20 week scan? x

Two things: 1) it is very normal to worry and 2) the overwhelming likelihood is that everything is fine. I had my 20 week scan (at 20 + 6 weeks) on Monday and was really nervous beforehand but I started to feel calmer as soon as I saw the baby wriggling around. The sonographer was really nice and told us what she was looking at and that things were fine as she checked them.
I didn't feel the baby move until exactly 20 weeks and even now it's very intermittent and quite subtle. During the scan, I could see that the baby was moving loads even though I wasn't able to feel it. I drank some juice before the scan as I didn't want her to be asleep; it definitely worked but it probably made the sonographer's job a bit more difficult so I don't necessarily recommend it!
The other thing I would say is try not to obsess about any of the measurements if they're all in the normal range. Ours were all normal but in quite different percentiles for different body parts ... This freaked me out a bit at first but I think babies all grow at different rates so I'm not going to worry.
Good luck tomorrow and enjoy seeing your baby and finding out the gender!
