Kelbells · 11/07/2012 18:20

Sammy Oh! What to do?! Sleep, sleep, go to the cinema without feelings of guilt, have an uninterrupted, conversation filled evening with dh then and more sleep... We won't get much for the next millennium once the little monsters arrive Grin.... Still jealous Wink

EMS23 · 11/07/2012 18:36

Two hours in, loving it! I had a long pre baby mat leave last time (8 weeks) and hopefully will get the same this time as I'm only 30.5 weeks now.
I've got loads planned, no chance of me being bored!! House stuff, holiday, haircut, spa day, night away without the kids for first time since DD arrived 20 months ago, quality time with my DH when DD is at nursery 2 days a week and DSS is at his mums. Sitting still. A bit more sleep.

If it was my first mat leave again, I'd do a lot more sleeping but not an option anymore sadly!!

My maternity leave starts next Thursday, I had to start it to coincide with the summer holidays and it fits in relatively neatly (I'll be 33wks, I have SPD and the thought of trying to organise holiday childcare and drag myself into work when I don't have to is crazy). My bosses have gone on holiday till mid August from today anyway so when the inevitable problems arise with the skeleton staff I will be well out of it.

Heartbeep · 11/07/2012 18:40

6 weeks to go for me! Can't wait will be able to spend quality time with DD before no 2 arrives Smile

theressomethingaboutmarie · 11/07/2012 18:45

4 weeks and 2 days for me too! I'll be 37 +1 and CANNOT WAIT!! I'm working from home due to bad SPD but had to go into the office today for a meeting. It made me realise how desperate I am to finish up for a whole year.

Angelico · 11/07/2012 19:49

Yay! I am pretty much finished already Blush and not quite 28 weeks but I'm a teacher so just going back for a few days Aug / Sep... then escaping! :o

Pinkie29 · 11/07/2012 20:20

So jealous I probably won't start mine till the end of january! Enjoy!
