How many weeks am I?

Hi,

Just need some advice from some experience Mum's out there! I have just found out I am pregnant following having the Mirena coil out a month a go. They said I should wait until I had a period before trying but I didn't honestly think things would happen so quickly so I have no dates to go on! According to the Clear Blue Conception Indicator we conceived 1-2 weeks ago. How many weeks pregnant does that make me? That seems like such a stupid question but on the box it said something about being 3-4 weeks pregnant?? Any help would be fab!

Yes you usually go from first say of last period which would be roughly 2 weeks prior conception. So you add 2 weeks to the date you think you conceived. If your CB test says 1-2 weeks since conception that makes you 3-4 weeks pregnant :) Congrats!

Thanks gnocci! So would I be expecting to have my first scan in 8-9 weeks time?

Yep! You'll have a 12 and then a 20 week scan. Well roughly, depending on how busy your area is! At the 12 wk scan thay may change your dates as at the moment it's all a bit of a guess. For example last time my due date was moved forward two days but this time it has stayed the same.
