I lived on the Tesco version throughout my last pregnancy and breastfeeding and have started the habit again this time round (currently 13 weeks). They're great as a middle-of-the-night snack and I took a packet in my carry-on bag when I recently went away - perfect! Also handy because my daughter likes them too... :)

I am going to get loads in. Only thing is I'm worried about bing outed at work now as chiro said it was well known they are munched by pg women!

TUC biscuits might help as well. I was lucky & didn't have morning sickness but my friend swore by them.

Ryvita work for me, I have a packet by my bed to munch as soon as I wake up. Cardboard never tasted so good before!

Basically eating anything should work.

When pg with DD a MW told me that most morning sickness is caused by low blood sugar, and to keep a Mars bar to hand for a quick fix until I could eat something decent. A cracker might not work as quickly or as well as a Mars, but the principle is the same.

yup i would second crackers, im getting through high fibre Hovis crackers.

Its all about avoiding peaks and troughs in your blood sugars, keep them even.

Longer lasting carbs work for me too, pasta & rice works for far longer than bread for eg.

Ginger biscuits and toast also seemed to help me. Little and often Smile
