Hi all

Am searching for a sleigh cot for our first baby due in Oct. The current contenders are (they are all 3 in 1's and price includes mattress, draw and delivery (links are just for pics):

Boori Country - £740
www.whwatts.co.uk/furniture-5/boori-country-collection-sleigh-cotbed-colour-5783.htm

Babystyle Hollie - £343
www.jusonne.co.uk/hollie-sleigh-cot-bed-in-3-colours-923-p.asp

Tutti Bambini Louis - £319
www.preciouslittleone.com/product-information/51/9142/tutti-bambini-louis-cot-bed-and-drawer---walnut-%28free-foam-mattress%29/

Does anyone have any experience? Boori are meant to be seriously good but the price tag reflects. Tutti looks nice but reviews tend to not be great. Hollie I know nothing about.

Or is there a brand I am missing?

Thanks

GD

I have a Boori (King Parrot) cot bed. It's been great, looks lovely etc BUT the thing I would say about cot beds is that very often the buyer tends not to convert, but to buy a new toddler bed and sell the cot bed as a cot (myself included). I think some of them look a bit odd as beds because the lead and foot boards are very high (as they've previously been cot ends). Maybe it's just because you fancy a change by then. I dont know.

Worth thinking about as you do cut down your options with the convertability factor when in fact you may well not actually use it.

Hey

Thanks for the response, tbh the 3 in 1 factor is nice but the bigger thing for us is the sleigh design as we really like them and all the sleigh ones seem to be 3 in 1 anyway1

I have a Boori (Madison). It is seriously good. Very very very well made and looks beautiful in the room. If you can afford it then I would recommend it. They are slightly different sized to standard cotbeds though (wider/slightly shorter) so be careful to order the right sheets if you go for them.
